Meet Team 42
Erin Jones Wesley is a co-founder and the executive director of The 42 Initiative. She is based in Los Angeles and is a film executive at Lionsgate in the Motion Picture Group. Erin began her career working for Major League Baseball before co-founding Club 42. A SoCal native, Erin received her M.F.A. from the American Film Institute Conservatory and her B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach where she was a record-breaking NCAA D1 softball player.
“Coach Johnny” co-founded Club 42 in the summer of 2014. An alumnus of Andover, Coach Johnny has been passionate from a young age to be non sibi (not for self). This mantra and his love of sports, music, dance and eSports ultimately led to the creation of Club 42. When Coach Johnny is not helping others maximize their potential and achieve their goals he is out in the ocean SUP surfing or playing fetch with his dog, Bailey.
Melissa Bowden co-founded Club 42 in the summer of 2014. Melissa, an entrepreneur and mother of two, stays on the cutting edge of youth culture and technology. Melissa’s endeavors have lead to the Club 42 eSports initiative, supporting The Branca Center for eSports and Technology at Sierra Canyon School , while also executive-producing a series of Fortnite private match celebrity and student tournaments.
